As the government appointed interlocutors have wound up their business in Kashmir, it was turn for other actors to make entry into Kashmir theatre of politics. BJP leader Ram Jethmalani has revived the decade-old committee on Kashmir to what he called “open channels of dialogue with the people of the state to work out solutions to the issue”.
For the first time in 22 years Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah on 19 March spoke on a common platform.
